Introductions

The right person.
Ready to talk.

Kite is an introductions platform. Tell Kite what you want to achieve. Kite identifies the right people and gets you introduced.

An introduction is a relevant person who wants to talk and meets the criteria you set, handed to you with the conversation, the context and a next step. Kite creates the conversation, so you do not need an existing network.

What makes an introduction

  1. 01

    The right person

Someone relevant to your goal: the buyer, partner, dealer, investor or hire it calls for.

  2. 02

    They want to talk

They said so in the conversation. A polite reply or an accepted connection is not enough.

  3. 03

    Your criteria, met

Every condition you set as required is established. One that is still unknown does not count.

  4. 04

    The context comes with it

Who they are, their company, why they are relevant, what they said, and the conversation behind it.

  5. 05

    You take it from there

A clear next step: a booked meeting, or a direct handoff when they would rather you get in touch.

Not an introduction yet

Some are steps along the way, and one comes after. None of them counts as an introduction on its own.

  • A company or person that matches your target
  • A verified email address or profile
  • A reply, or a booked meeting, without interest and your criteria
  • A closed sale, an investment, a signed partnership or a hire. That part is yours.

New introduction

John Smith

CFO, ABC Construction

Why you are being introduced
ABC Construction is evaluating about $1.5M in equipment financing for an upcoming project.
Interest
John confirmed he is open to discussing financing options.
Your criteria
  • Construction business: Yes
  • California: Yes
  • Financing need of $1M or more: About $1.5M
  • Involved in the financing decision: CFO
  • Wants to discuss it: Confirmed
Next step
Meeting booked for Thursday at 11:00 AM Pacific. Review the conversation, then continue the financing discussion.

Had John written “Yes, have your team reach out to me directly,” it would still be an introduction. A booked meeting is one possible next step, not a requirement.

Every introduction is included.
