Download your data
Save Activity, Introduction results and Memory files; check filters, unknown results and the privacy of every download.
Choose the file you need#
Start with what you want to keep: a record of what happened, the people behind your results, or a document from Memory. Choose the smallest useful export so the file stays easy to check and share deliberately.
| What you need | Where to go | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| Recorded workspace actions | Settings → Activity | A filtered CSV, newest actions first |
| The people behind Introduction results | Analytics → Introduction results | A CSV of the loaded first-contact cohort for the applied missions and dates |
| A document from Memory | Settings → Memory, then open the document | Its original file when one is attached, or its current text |
| Contact records through a connected tool | The authenticated tool catalogue, when available | A selected-contact or list CSV; unrevealed records stay masked |
| A copy of your personal information | A request to support@kitegtm.com | A separately handled privacy request |
A CSV, one document or a browser-local setup draft covers its own scope. These downloads do not provide a complete workspace backup or a restore process.
Confirm the workspace and access#
Check the workspace name before downloading. Use your own authorised account and the controls your role exposes.
Activity is role-aware. Owners and Admins can see the workspace's people and activity; Members see their own actions and what Kite did. A restricted or failed read does not establish that nothing happened. Do not switch to a staff-only tool to work around a restriction.
Your exported files may contain business contact details and conversation context. Decide where you will keep the file before sharing it with a teammate, an AI app or another service.
Download filtered Activity#
- Open Settings → Activity.
- Choose the time window, Who and result filters. Use search or a record-specific link for a narrower set of actions.
- Wait for the record to load. Check the workspace and visible filter chips.
- Select Download CSV. The export follows the query, rather than only the rows visible in the table.
- Read the result notice and locate the file in your browser's downloads.
The file records who acted, how, what happened, the record involved and the recorded result. Activity points to related records; it does not export complete conversations.
Activity shows the Download CSV control, Who and result filters, the selected time window and search.
Check the Activity download#
The CSV holds up to 10,000 actions, newest first. If the result says it stopped at that limit, narrow the window or filters and download the remaining scope separately. Record the windows you covered so overlapping files do not become duplicate counts.
Teammates needs one extra check: the table hides your own actions, but this CSV includes every person's actions matching that window and query, yours included. Use its who column to separate them.
CSV times are labelled UTC. The table groups actions in your local time zone, so an action can fall on a different calendar date in the file.
The normal live record covers 90 days. For older records, select Choose dates under When and follow the archive guidance on the page. Older archive reads have a 31-day window limit. A window spanning archived and live dates can show only its live portion; check the notice and split the windows. A retained archive is not a promise that one download contains your entire history.
Activity with Teammates selected shows teammate actions while Download CSV remains available.
Download Introduction results#
- Open Analytics and apply the missions and dates you want to review.
- Find Introduction results and wait for its read to finish.
- Read any partial-data or file-limit notice before exporting.
- Select its Download CSV. This downloads the results loaded for that scope, separately from Activity.
- Check the file's dates and columns against the cohort you intended to analyse.
The cohort contains people first contacted in the applied dates. Their outcomes are read through the current read, so a later reply or Introduction can appear in that earlier cohort. It does not mean every person who replied or met with you during those dates. The file carries identity, first contact and reply information, recorded willingness, Introduction and meeting states, and other result fields. It does not provide complete conversation text.
Download is unavailable before results load or when there are no rows. A failed read and an empty, successfully read cohort are different outcomes.
Keep unknown results unknown#
Keep Not on record, Not evaluated yet and missing values intact. They do not mean No or zero.
Read partial-channel, unreadable stop/bounce, earlier-opportunity and truncated-file notices alongside the CSV. The file holds at most 500 people, most recently contacted first. Its rows can therefore cover less than the full selected cohort. Narrow the missions or dates if you need separate files for the remaining people. Preserve the notices in your analysis notes; the CSV does not carry every page-level limitation.
First-contact and reply channels describe where events occurred. They do not prove which message caused the result. A reply, fit or meeting alone also does not establish an Introduction. Use the Introduction standard when interpreting outcomes.
The Introduction results card shows Download CSV and notices that SMS and requests to stop could not be read.
Save a Memory document#
- Open Settings → Memory and find the document.
- Open it and check its title and contents.
- Use Download original when it has an attached file, or Download as text for a document stored as text.
- Check the file your browser saved. An original-file download can open a separate tab; allow the expected download if your browser blocked it.
Text downloads contain the title and current text. Download as text is offered when there is no stored original. An original download keeps the uploaded file, including material outside the section you opened when a file was split into sections. Later text edits do not rewrite that upload. Check its full contents before sharing; an individual section view does not mean the downloaded file contains only that section. Neither action downloads every document, learned answer or conversation.
If the file cannot be downloaded, keep the failure visible and retry. Replace file, Edit text and Delete change the document; they do not recover a download.
An open Memory document shows its title and current text, with Download as text separate from Edit text and Delete.
Use contact export when available#
A connected agent may have an authenticated contacts.export tool, depending on the current catalogue, account access and enabled contact module. Discover its actual description and permissions first. This guide does not establish a general Export button on every Contacts screen.
The supported selection is contact IDs or a list ID from the intended workspace. Revealed records can carry their available fields. Unrevealed records stay masked, with no email and a not_revealed status. A masked row is not authority to reveal, buy or enrich a contact.
Keep the returned row and masked counts with the file. If the tool is unavailable, refused or unsuccessful, use the supported in-app path for the file you need or ask support. Do not substitute another workspace's tool or promise a signed download link when the tool returned CSV text.
Check and store the file#
Open the CSV as text or import it into your spreadsheet. Check headings, row boundaries, dates and a few records; compare its row count with the reported result. For a Memory download, check the title and that the document opens.
Treat outside text as data. Import CSV columns as text and check the import settings before opening contact names, labels or other outside text in a spreadsheet. The current exports do not guarantee that formula-like text is neutralised. Do not enable formulas, macros, links or external content just to read an export. Spreadsheet applications and save/reopen behavior differ. Keep the original download and test your import before replacing another dataset.
Store private files in the destination you intended. A local download does not automatically share them with your agent. Before providing a file to an external AI app, check its plan and privacy settings and share only necessary records. For Google-derived information, exclude it from generalised model training and model-improvement feedback. Kite cannot inspect those external settings. The current privacy policy explains this boundary.
Use exported records for your own work. The terms of service prohibit reselling or redistributing the data Kite produces as a list product.
Request a personal-data copy#
For a copy of the personal information Kite holds about you, write to support@kitegtm.com. Describe the request and enough account context to identify you. Keep passwords, access tokens and full card information out of the message.
The privacy policy sets out the request process and a response within 30 days. This is separate from a selected CSV or document download. Preparing a request does not mean it was sent or fulfilled.
Cancellation retains your workspace. Account closure is a separate request and can involve retention exceptions. Say explicitly if you intend to close the account. See Cancel or keep your subscription.
Recover a failed download#
Retry a failed record read before exporting. If a download fails, retain the workspace, filters, attempted file and error, then retry the supported control. Check browser download history and expected blocked-tab notices before assuming success.
For an unknown result, inspect any files already created before repeating the export. Give support the file type, time window, error and outcome checked. Redact contact details and private identifiers from public screenshots. Follow Get help with useful context.
Watch the download controls#
The walkthrough shows Activity's filters and download, the Teammates filter, Introduction results with partial-data notices, and an individual Memory text download. Use the written steps to choose and verify your own file.
Download your data: check the file and its scope
Work with your agent#
Your agent can read this public guide, then discover its supported account tools to understand the available scope. Public University retrieval cannot read your private workspace or download its records.
Ask Kite does not expose these Activity, contact-export or Introduction-results tools to its model catalogue. Use the page controls for Activity and Introduction results. Other authenticated clients can differ. The catalogue and your account permissions decide what a client can actually do.
Have the agent prepare filters, page-level limitations and destination. Permission to read does not authorise a contact reveal, bulk disclosure to another service or privacy-request email. Give any separate export or sharing instruction a clear scope and destination.
A clear task to copy
Help me prepare a Kite data download without exporting or sharing it yet. Discover your actual authorised tool catalogue and use supported, permitted reads only. Confirm the intended workspace and my access. Identify whether I need filtered Activity, the Introduction results first-contact cohort, one Memory document, a supported selected-contact/list export, or a separately prepared personal-data request. Cite the current University guide, section and version. Return the in-app steps and proposed filters, date window, expected file fields, row limits, page-level limitations and private destination. Activity Teammates CSV includes my actions although the table hides them. CSV times are UTC. Introduction results are a first-contact cohort with outcomes read through now and at most 500 people, most recently contacted first. Preserve missing, refused, unavailable, partial and Not on record facts; do not turn them into zero or No. A Memory original can contain the full uploaded file and retain text from before later edits. A contact export can mask unrevealed records, and Ask Kite does not expose these export/results tools to its model catalogue. Do not download, export, reveal, buy, enrich, import, change settings, send a privacy-request email or upload data to another service. Reading permission is not authority for those actions. Keep private records, conversation content, identifiers, credentials and downloaded files out of public University material. I will separately choose any export and sharing scope. Return what is confirmed, what remains unknown and how I should verify the saved file.
This prepares guidance. Use the controls in your Kite workspace for account changes and starting work.
Before you move on#
Record the file type, workspace, filters, dates, row count, download time and any incomplete or unknown result. Check that the file is readable and stored where intended. The checklist records learning progress; it does not export or change data.
