Read progress and know when to step in

Understand what Kite is doing, separate activity from outcomes and answer the decisions that need your business judgment.

Understand what Kite is doing, separate activity from outcomes and answer the decisions that need your business judgment.

Before you begin#

Access to your Kite workspace. Keep your objective in plain language.

Follow the steps#

  1. Open the mission in Missions. Confirm its identity and current state. If it belongs to a group, inspect the relevant member as well as the overall objective.
  2. Read actual activity. Sourcing, messages, follow-ups, replies and qualification describe different events. Check timestamps and the scope of each count before comparing them.
  3. Distinguish queueing from completion. A scheduled or queued task has not necessarily run. A sender preparing to send has not sent. If a status is unavailable, treat it as unknown rather than zero activity.
  4. Read replies in context. A polite acknowledgment, objection, opt-out, question and willingness to talk need different handling. Match the conversation to the correct person across the available channels.
  5. Answer business decisions that need you. If someone asks about terms you have not supplied, provide the business’s answer. Do not treat the missing fact as qualified interest or let a guessed policy proceed.
  6. Change direction deliberately. Review the brief and source of a problem before changing targeting, messages or permissions. Pausing or stopping work does not retract messages already sent. Paused managed work still occupies capacity.

What you should see#

Your mission should tell a coherent story about current work and what needs attention. Activity is useful evidence, but the outcome remains an Introduction: relevant fit, willingness to talk, nothing on record ruling the person out and a handoff. A number of replies is not a number of Introductions.

Read progress without guessing

If something is missing#

If progress is slow, first identify whether work is waiting for approval, connections, credits, capacity, a required answer or actual recipient responses. Check the visible reason before buying more capacity or changing several settings at once. There is no universal reply or Introduction deadline. Record the latest state and timestamp if something cannot be read.

Work with your agent#

Use the task below to prepare a useful next step. Give your agent current University guidance and only the business information it needs. Ask it to separate facts, assumptions and decisions that need your answer. If its tools cannot read something, the answer is unknown.

Work with your agent

A clear task to copy

Give me a read-only progress report for the selected mission. If the connected Kite tools are available, discover them, find the mission through list_missions, then use the returned market_id with get_mission and read relevant recent activity. Distinguish sourced people, messages, replies, developing interest and confirmed Introductions. State missing fields as unknown and list decisions that need my answer.

Prepare guidance only. Do not change settings, create or start work, connect accounts, send messages, enroll contacts or spend money. Use current tool discovery; never invent capabilities or record IDs. Show missing evidence and the next step for me to review in Kite.

This prepares guidance. Use the controls in your Kite workspace for account changes and starting work.

Check your next step#

I am reading the correct mission and time period. Complete the readiness notes below, then use your Kite workspace to confirm what is actually saved. Checking a box here does not change your account.
