Review your first Introduction with confidence

Use the person, conversation and qualification evidence to decide whether the handoff meets your mission’s standard.

You'll leave with a clearer next step you can put into practice.

Use the person, conversation and qualification evidence to decide whether the handoff meets your mission’s standard.

Before you begin#

Access to your Kite workspace. Keep your objective in plain language.

Follow the steps#

  1. Open Introductions in the workspace. Select the relevant person and mission. Some underlying routes or agent tools retain the older opportunities name; a label alone does not prove qualification.
  2. Check person and company. Confirm the role, business and relevance to the objective. Fit is evidence of whom to pursue, not proof that the person wants to talk.
  3. Read the actual expression of interest. Look for willingness to talk about the relevant objective and agreement to be connected. A generic reply or referral to another person is not automatically that agreement.
  4. Review every required criterion. Use the recorded qualification evidence and conversation. A required fact recorded as not met rules the person out. An unconfirmed fact stays visible to confirm on the call and does not hold back an Introduction when the person has agreed to talk and nothing on record rules them out. Useful preferences can remain open when they are not required.
  5. Read the handoff and next step. Check the relevant context, conversation, qualification information and what you or your team should do next. A direct handoff is valid when agreed and qualified; booking is optional.
  6. Check booking details when included. Confirm the attendee, time, timezone and phone or video details. A booking alone is insufficient without agreement to talk or when a required criterion is recorded as not met.

What you should see#

The complete handoff should explain who the person is, why they are relevant, what they want to discuss, which criteria are confirmed, which remain to confirm on the call, whether anything rules the person out and what happens next. What makes an Introduction qualified? remains the detailed definition and practice exercise. An Introduction is not a completed sale, investment, hire or partnership.

Review the first Introduction

If something is missing#

If evidence is missing, keep it visible as missing and ask for clarification. If an agent reads list_opportunities, it should inspect introduction.state and required-condition evidence rather than equating a qualified stage with a confirmed Introduction. If the returned state conflicts with the current definition, report that discrepancy and the evidence for reconciliation; do not silently rewrite an account result. Withdrawn interest and earlier unevaluated rows need their actual status, not an inferred success.

Work with your agent#

Use the task below to prepare a useful next step. Give your agent current University guidance and only the business information it needs. Ask it to separate facts, assumptions and decisions that need your answer. If its tools cannot read something, the answer is unknown.

Work with your agent

A clear task to copy

Review this potential Introduction against my exact required criteria. With a connected Kite tool, discover the current list_opportunities contract and read the returned introduction.state, handoff and evidence. Use returned conversation keys if needed; do not invent IDs. Apply the ordinary Introduction rule: agreement to talk and nothing on record ruling them out; carry unknown required facts to the call and reject recorded failures. The First Win Guarantee keeps its stricter standard. Give a table of fit, relevant interest, agreement to connect, each required condition and next step, with evidence and unknowns. Do not mark an outcome or send a reply.

Prepare guidance only. Do not change settings, create or start work, connect accounts, send messages, enroll contacts or spend money. Use current tool discovery; never invent capabilities or record IDs. Show missing evidence and the next step for me to review in Kite.

This prepares guidance. Use the controls in your Kite workspace for account changes and starting work.

Check your next step#

The person and company match the objective. Complete the readiness notes below, then use your Kite workspace to confirm what is actually saved. Checking a box here does not change your account.
