Review billing and change your plan
Check payment history, saved cards and future invoice details, then review a paid plan change and confirm its recorded result.
Choose the billing task#
Open Settings → Subscription in the workspace you intend to manage. Start with the question you need answered: what plan is active, what was paid, where future invoices go, or whether to change a plan.
| Your question | Where to look | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| What am I subscribed to? | Subscription overview | Current plan, recorded status, renewal or end date |
| What happened to a payment? | Payment methods → Payment history | Requested, paid and refunded amounts, with the payment status |
| Who should receive future invoices? | Payment methods → Who receipts go to | Company, contact name and billing email |
| Which cards are saved? | Payment methods | The saved-card list and what its default designation means |
| Should I change a paid plan? | Subscription → Plans | Reach, monthly price and the plan-change review |
| Should I stop renewing? | Subscription overview | Cancellation and the paid period's end date |
Billing is workspace-specific. Check the workspace name before using a control or asking an agent to review its records.
Confirm access and current records#
Use your own authorised account. Plan changes and payment controls require the appropriate billing access; if a control is unavailable, ask the workspace owner or support rather than switching identities.
Refresh the relevant billing records before making a decision. An unavailable read is an unknown result, not proof that you have no subscription, no cards or no payments. Record the error and try the supported refresh control.
Keep the current plan, status and renewal or end date together. A plan name alone does not establish that payment settled or that a requested change took effect.
For a Custom plan or a subscription outside the standard KiteGTM plans, use the recorded agreement and contact support. The page preserves those existing terms and may not offer the standard self-serve plan selector. The standard monthly-plan steps below do not replace your agreement.
Read payment history#
Open Payment methods, then find Payment history. It lists payment attempts newest first. Use Refresh history to read the current records, and Older payments or Newer payments when those controls are available.
Read each row as three separate facts:
- Requested is the amount of the payment attempt.
- Paid is the captured amount. A requested amount is not evidence that it was paid.
- Refunded is the amount recorded as refunded, shown separately from paid.
The status adds context. Pending or Failed does not mean the requested amount was paid. Authorized, not captured means the amount has not been captured. Read any dispute indicator alongside the amounts.
The list is payment history, not a complete invoice ledger. Unpaid invoices are not included. No payment attempts yet describes the records this control confirmed; it does not establish that there are no unpaid invoices. Missing card details do not erase the payment record.
Payment history separates requested, paid and refunded amounts for pending, failed and succeeded records.
Check a charge before contacting support#
Compare the payment's date, currency, requested amount, paid amount, refund amount and status with the charge you are asking about. Keep the recorded subscription status and plan alongside that information.
For a failed, pending or unexpected charge, use the recorded result rather than guessing from a browser redirect or a card statement alone. A return from checkout is not payment proof. If the outcome remains unknown, retain the original request and ask support to reconcile it before starting another purchase.
For a receipt or invoice that is not available in the controls you can see, contact support@kitegtm.com. Include the workspace, date, currency, amount and the question you need answered. Share only the card's last four digits if they are useful; never send a full card number, security code, password or access token.
Review who future invoices go to#
In Who receipts go to, select Change. Check Made out to, For the attention of and Billing email. The company and billing email must be valid before the change can be saved.
This updates the billing contact for future invoices and billing email. It does not resend past receipts or change a card. Ask support separately if you need an earlier receipt corrected or resent.
Save only after checking the intended workspace and the new contact details. Refresh and read back the recorded contact. If the page offers Complete billing update, continue the original retained change; an uncertain result is not a confirmed edit.
Who receipts go to shows company, contact name and billing email, with the explanation that a change affects future invoices rather than past receipts or cards.
Understand saved cards#
Read the saved-card list and its explanatory text before adding, removing or changing a default card. A customer default card is separate from confirmation of the subscription's payment method. Changing one should not be treated as proof that the next subscription invoice will use it.
When adding a card, use Kite's supported hosted payment flow. A successful card setup saves the card; it does not itself charge it, change the default card or change your subscription. Use Check card status to read the original setup's result, or Continue adding your card when that setup is still awaiting completion.
An unresolved saved-card default or removal change has a separate Complete card change control. Continue that original change and refresh its result before making another one.
If you need to confirm which card will pay a subscription invoice and the page does not establish it, ask support. Keep full payment details inside the supported payment form.
Payment methods shows two saved cards and explains that the default saved card may differ from the subscription payment method.
Compare plans by Reach#
Open Plans and compare the monthly Reach and price with your objective and expected audience. One unique person sourced into your mission uses one Reach. Later messages, replies, follow-ups and the Introduction do not repeatedly use Reach for that sourcing event.
Reach resets monthly and unused Reach does not roll over. Included active capacity and credits are separate allowances; a plan decision should account for each rather than treating them as interchangeable. See Choose your Reach plan and Understand credits and active capacity.
Use the current plan record and current offer. Confirm the price, taxes, allowance quantities and effective timing before accepting a change. A plan comparison is not a prediction of how many Introductions you will receive.
Plans shows paid plan choices, monthly prices, Reach and an earlier-price notice for the current subscription.
Review a paid plan change#
For a workspace already on a standard paid plan with the self-serve selector available, select the desired paid plan and read Review your plan change. The review shows your current monthly price and the selected monthly price in USD. If your current record shows an earlier price, compare it with the current offer before proceeding.
Read Your invoice total is not quoted here carefully. The selected monthly price excludes taxes. Confirm plan change submits the change now and may create a prorated invoice; it does not schedule a change for the next renewal.
The review does not establish the final charge, the effective allowances or a payment hold. If you need the exact invoice before changing plans, choose Keep your current plan and contact support. Do not estimate a final total from the monthly prices.
Review your plan change shows current and selected monthly prices, an unquoted invoice-total warning and Keep your current plan beside Confirm plan change.
Confirm what actually changed#
After a deliberate change, refresh the subscription and usage records. Check the recorded plan, status, any payment result and the allowances that actually apply. Keep the original request if confirmation is incomplete.
A pending payment is not an applied plan. An error or uncertain response is not proof that nothing happened. Check the original result before making another change, and contact support when the recorded outcome needs reconciliation.
If you are moving from Free to a paid plan, follow the purchase controls and their current quote. A checkout return alone does not confirm payment or activation. This paid-plan change review is for changing an existing paid subscription.
Separate renewal from mission activity#
Standard Kite plans are billed monthly in advance in USD and renew until cancelled. For Custom or recorded terms outside those plans, check your agreement and the account record. Pausing a mission controls the work; it does not cancel subscription renewal. Use Pause, resume or archive a mission for mission controls.
To stop renewing, follow Cancel or keep your subscription. The paid period's recorded end date and the cancellation result matter. Selecting Free from Plans opens cancellation confirmation rather than the normal paid-plan-change review.
Do not assume a First Win Guarantee extension is active because you have not received an Introduction. Check the extension recorded for your account and its terms before relying on a changed billing date.
Watch the billing controls#
The walkthrough shows saved cards and billing contact, the contact editor, payment history, plan comparison and the paid-plan review. Use the written steps to check your own records and decide whether to act.
Review billing and change your plan
Work with your agent#
Your agent can retrieve this public guide and cite its stable sections. The University endpoint cannot read your private billing records or change your account.
An authenticated client may expose permitted billing reads. Have the agent discover its current catalogue, confirm the workspace and report the recorded subscription, payment attempts, saved-card facts and any pending receipt it can actually read. Keep unavailable and incomplete results explicit.
Ask the agent to prepare a comparison and questions for you. A plan-change tool with a preview option can provision billing configuration; it is not a read-only billing check. The task below keeps financial and contact changes for your separate decision.
A clear task to copy
Help me review my Kite billing question without changing anything. Retrieve this current University guide and cite the stable section and version. Discover your actual authorised account-tool catalogue before using supported, permitted reads; confirm the intended workspace and billing access. Public University retrieval cannot read private billing records. Return the recorded plan, status, renewal or end date, payment attempts with requested/paid/refunded amounts, saved-card facts, billing contact and any pending original receipt that you can actually read. Keep unavailable, refused, incomplete and unknown facts explicit. Unpaid invoices are outside payment history. A saved customer default card does not confirm the subscription payment method; a browser return does not prove payment, card setup or activation. Separate setup recovery from default/removal and contact-update recovery. Custom subscriptions follow their recorded agreement rather than assumed standard terms. Prepare a comparison and the in-app checks I need before choosing a change. Do not estimate a final invoice, taxes, proration or effective allowances from a monthly price or screenshot. Do not call a plan-change preview: it can provision billing configuration and is not read-only. Do not change a plan, cancel or resume a subscription, create a checkout/portal/setup session, add/remove/set a default card, update a contact, charge/refund, submit an approval, buy credits/capacity, send a support message or upload account data. Keep credentials, payment details, private records and identifiers out of public University content. I will separately decide any action. Return confirmed facts, remaining unknowns and a concise support question when needed.
This prepares guidance. Use the controls in your Kite workspace for account changes and starting work.
Before you move on#
You should have a clear billing question, the relevant recorded facts, and any remaining unknowns. Check that a confirmed change is visible in the current account record. The checklist saves learning progress; it does not submit or confirm a billing action.
