Find and organise your missions

Use mission views, search, sorting and groups to find the right work, understand its counts and recover an incomplete read.

You'll leave with a clearer next step you can put into practice.

Open the right workspace#

Open Missions and check the workspace name first. Find the mission whose objective matches the work you want to review. Similar names can belong to different audiences or campaigns, so use the objective and current state as well as the title.

The allocation panel shows how your Monthly Reach is shared across missions. It is not a count of qualified Introductions. Reading, searching and sorting this list do not start or pause a mission.

Choose a view#

Use the views above the list to narrow what you see:

ViewWhat to look for
AllMissions and saved setups that are not archived
Needs attentionSearches waiting for your answer, stopped for lack of credits or failed
DraftsWork that has not started, including saved setups where available
ArchivedMissions you have put away

An empty view means nothing matched that view's current filters. Clear a search and use Show all missions when it appears before deciding that a mission is missing. If Kite says saved setups could not be read, Drafts may not show all of them.

Search and sort#

  1. Select the view you need.
  2. Enter a distinctive part of the mission name in Search missions.
  3. Choose Needs attention first or Name A to Z in the sort control.
  4. Wait for the results to settle, then check the mission's objective and state before opening it.

Changing the search, view or sort returns you to the first page. The counts beside the views describe their wider populations; they do not shrink to the search results. The sentence below the list describes missions matching the current view and search.

If nothing matches, try a shorter name or Clear search. Avoid creating a replacement mission just because a filtered view is empty.

Search within the view

Searching for solar returns one mission while the tab counts retain their broader scope.

Understand Needs attention#

Read the hold shown on the mission. Answer it opens work waiting for your input. A failed search and an out-of-credits search need different remedies; inspect the stated reason before taking action.

People waiting for your approval appear on each mission and are not counted by the Needs attention tab. An empty Needs attention view therefore does not establish that there are no people or messages for you to review. Open the mission's Audience and Outreach when those are the tasks you need.

Use Read mission progress to understand the mission state, and Review companies and people for person-level decisions.

Read groups and pages#

When missions were set up together, Kite can collect matching members into one group card. Open the group to inspect its individual missions and any remaining saved setup. Each mission still has its own settings and state.

A group card is one list entry but may contain several records. Counts of started missions do not include an unstarted saved setup. Searching or switching views can also show only part of a group's members. Use the individual rows to decide which mission you mean.

Use the page controls when more entries are available. One page is not the whole workspace. If a count is marked incomplete, retain that limitation in any report rather than treating it as a precise total.

Recover a missing or stale result#

If This page could not be refreshed appears, the rows are from the last successful read. Use Try again and confirm that the warning clears before treating them as current. An unreadable page is not evidence that missions were deleted.

Check the workspace, view, search and group scope first. Keep the exact warning and time if retry does not recover the read. Get help with useful context explains what to include without sharing unnecessary account data.

Pausing, resuming, archiving and restoring are separate actions. Follow the mission controls guide when your goal is to change work rather than find it.

Watch the controls#

Watch how the overview, search and Needs attention view fit together. The written steps remain available below each chapter.

Find and organise your missions

Work with your agent#

Ask your agent to identify the right mission and explain its current view. Keep the task read-only until you have reviewed a specific proposed action. An agent must use the capabilities its actual connection exposes; a guide does not create a missing tool.

Work with your agent

A clear task to copy

Prepare a read-only mission navigation summary. Discover the current authorised Kite tools and their exact arguments. Where available, use list_missions with the supported tab, q, offset and limit, and follow its returned paging information. Resolve the mission from returned IDs and pass its returned market_id to get_mission. Use group only if the current tool explicitly supports it and an actual returned group.id is available. Do not infer a complete workspace from one page or equate group entries with underlying mission totals. Distinguish search holds, saved setups, person approvals and confirmed Introductions. State any unreadable, incomplete or missing fields and cite the current University guide, section and version.

Prepare guidance only. Do not create, delete, start, pause, resume, archive or restore anything, change allocations, send messages or spend money. If the connected tool cannot show a view, provide the steps to inspect it in Kite.

This prepares guidance. Use the controls in your Kite workspace for account changes and starting work.

Before you move on#

Try finding one known mission by name, clear the search, and explain why the tab count and result count may differ. You are ready when you can identify the correct mission and describe the scope and freshness of the information you read.
