Fix the first-run issue without starting over
Use the exact message Kite shows to resolve account, sender, campaign and mission holds while preserving your saved setup.
Use the exact message Kite shows to resolve account, sender, campaign and mission holds while preserving your saved setup.
Before you begin#
Access to your Kite workspace. Keep your objective in plain language.
Follow the steps#
- Identify the surface and the exact message. Is this account verification, business Memory, sending identity, a mission draft, campaign review or a running mission? Record the time and what you last tried.
- For account entry, confirm identity and verification. Use the account guide for a missing code or wrong sign-in method. A new account is not the default fix.
- For product or knowledge holds, inspect the selected offer. If business facts are tied to a different product, select the correct offer or update Memory. A knowledge update still saving needs its own completion, not a duplicate mission.
- For campaign and message holds, review the current version. Missing, changed or outdated campaigns need selection and message review again. Changing the target can invalidate a previous check.
- For sender or calendar holds, fix the named connection. Confirm the sender’s status and actual load. Connect a calendar when booking is selected, or deliberately choose a direct handoff and review again.
- For permissions or funding holds, read the narrow requirement. Review the relevant saved restriction, Reach, capacity or credit issue. Do not switch on every permission, remove suppression or enable refill as a general workaround.
- For an uncertain start, inspect before retrying. If a mission already exists for the market, open it. If the saved setup moved on, reload it. If the failure is transient, preserve the draft and check current status before trying again.
Review asks for the business and sending identity before creating a Kite email.
What you should see#
The next step should address one named requirement and leave a saved, reviewable setup. When a mission cannot start keeps the existing recovery walkthrough. A successful retry still needs a confirmed product result; an agent’s explanation is not that result.
Resolve one first-run hold at a time
If something is missing#
If the message cannot be mapped to a supported remedy, keep the draft and collect useful help context. Record what is unknown instead of trying several unrelated settings. Do not include credentials, payment details or customer conversations in a public feedback form.
Work with your agent#
Use the task below to prepare a useful next step. Give your agent current University guidance and only the business information it needs. Ask it to separate facts, assumptions and decisions that need your answer. If its tools cannot read something, the answer is unknown.
A clear task to copy
Diagnose this visible first-run problem from the exact error and current University guidance. Identify the owning step, what is known, what remains unknown and one narrow next check. Preserve the saved draft and warn about duplicate starts if status is unclear. Do not change permissions, funding, connections, suppression or campaign membership. Prepare guidance only. Do not change settings, create or start work, connect accounts, send messages, enroll contacts or spend money. Use current tool discovery; never invent capabilities or record IDs. Show missing evidence and the next step for me to review in Kite.
This prepares guidance. Use the controls in your Kite workspace for account changes and starting work.
Check your next step#
I have the exact message and timestamp. Complete the readiness notes below, then use your Kite workspace to confirm what is actually saved. Checking a box here does not change your account.
