Review and start your first mission

Check the exact saved setup, resolve readiness holds and confirm the result of starting without duplicating work.

You'll leave with a clearer next step you can put into practice.

Check the exact saved setup, resolve readiness holds and confirm the result of starting without duplicating work.

Before you begin#

Access to your Kite workspace. Keep your objective in plain language.

Follow the steps#

  1. Open Review in the mission builder. Read the objective, target, selected offer, required criteria and campaign together. Use the existing review guide as a final checklist.
  2. Check Reach and operating choices. Confirm the mission’s allocation within the shared account allowance, research depth, involvement, channels, reply authority and handoff route. More missions do not multiply the account allowance.
  3. Read any named readiness issue. Confirm the sender, current message check, permissions, required answers, funding and capacity. A confirmed Kite email may still be preparing; sending waits for readiness.
  4. Resolve the requirement in its owning step. A missing product belongs under Your product, stale messages under Your messages, an incomplete criterion on Qualify and a missing calendar in booking setup. Recheck the resulting saved version.
  5. Use Kite’s start control when you are ready. Starting authorizes the configured work. Reading a lesson, checking this worksheet or saving a draft does not perform that action.
  6. Verify the outcome in Missions. Read the confirmed mission state and available activity. If the response is unclear or times out, inspect Missions and the saved draft before retrying. Do not create a second mission to compensate for an unconfirmed start.
Prepare your sending identity

Review asks for the business and sending identity before creating a Kite email.

What you should see#

A successful start should produce a confirmed mission you can open and inspect. A request being accepted or a spinner disappearing is not enough to prove every downstream operation has happened. Sender preparation, queued operations and actual sending remain separate states.

Review before starting

If something is missing#

If the setup changed, reload the saved version and review it again. If the market already has a mission, open that mission instead of starting another. For a transient failure, preserve the draft and retry only after checking status. Use first-run recovery for specific holds.

Work with your agent#

Use the task below to prepare a useful next step. Give your agent current University guidance and only the business information it needs. Ask it to separate facts, assumptions and decisions that need your answer. If its tools cannot read something, the answer is unknown.

Work with your agent

A clear task to copy

Prepare a read-only launch review for my first mission. Check the objective, target, required criteria, offer, messages, sender, involvement, permissions, handoff and Reach allocation from the evidence I provide. Mark each as verified, missing or unknown. Explain the exact in-app next step; do not press start or claim the mission is active without a confirmed product state.

Prepare guidance only. Do not change settings, create or start work, connect accounts, send messages, enroll contacts or spend money. Use current tool discovery; never invent capabilities or record IDs. Show missing evidence and the next step for me to review in Kite.

This prepares guidance. Use the controls in your Kite workspace for account changes and starting work.

Check your next step#

I have reviewed the current saved setup. Complete the readiness notes below, then use your Kite workspace to confirm what is actually saved. Checking a box here does not change your account.
